The LAS Lens Assembly Video demonstrates the simple steps of centering and aligning the lens barrel, entering lens data and aligning lens in a system that was designed for ACTIVE ALIGNMETNT. Final result is 0.5 um TIR in under one minute of actual lens repositioning.  Lens data can be imported from ZEMAX if available.
