Centering vacuum cup adapter
Beginning users of the Lens Handler may find it difficult to mount optics perfectly on center to the rotating spindle.  Usually a little wobble does not effect processing steps such as cleaning.  And even a little experience allows a quick re-centering by slightly closing the vacuum and nudging the optic in the appropriate direction.  But for applications that require no wobble such as critical edge painting or beveling, we can design a custom self-centering adapter for the vacuum cup.  We machine the adapter for one or more internal diameters that match the OD of the optics to be processed.  The adapter slides to the up position for loading the optic.  Slide the adapter down the shaft of the vacuum cup to put the optic on the vacuum cup and on the center of the spindle's rotation.
